The St. Michael PTO plays a vital role in the overall success of our school.

The St. Michael Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) consists of volunteers dedicated to enriching the lives of our students. Through various fundraisers, the PTO is able to subsidize the purchase of student materials and sponsor educational activities such as field trips and lecture series. Our organization also contributes to the social community of St. Michael with events such as the Ice Cream Social and teacher luncheons. PTO is considered to be an extension of the school staff, offering administrative support when needed, such as shopping for school supplies and scheduling playground monitors.

PTO encourages every parent (even grandparents!) to become involved at St. Michael Parish School.  Whether volunteering your time or providing monetary support, we need you!

* Please note that every volunteer MUST complete VIRTUS training.  Dates for VIRTUS classes are available through the school and parish offices.

Volunteering at St. Michael

At St. Michael Parish School, we are fortunate to be blessed with volunteers who are dedicated to making our school community a better place for our children.  There are many opportunities for parents and grandparents to become involved at St. Michael.

All volunteers MUST complete VIRTUS training and have passed a background check before they are able to volunteer with our children in the classroom, on the playground, in the cafeteria, on field trips, or in our athletic programs. Click here to see more information about VIRTUS.

Fundraisers - Through various fundraisers, PTO is able to subsidize the purchase of student materials and sponsor educational activities, such as field trips and lecture series. PTO also sponsors the school service day projects. Our largest fundraiser is the Walk-a-Thon, which is usually held in the fall.

The 2021 Walk-a-Thon is scheduled for Friday, September 17,  at Sharon Woods. It's never too early to start praying for good weather! We will update you with more information as plans develop!
