At St. Michael Parish School, we put our Catholic faith into action each day through prayer, worship, service, and ministry. Another advantage to Catholic education is not only daily prayer and regular Catholic instruction, but preparation for the sacraments.
Our students prepare for the sacraments in the classroom. Second grade children experience First Reconciliation in the fall and First Eucharist in the spring. The sacrament of Confirmation takes place annually in the spring during the students' eighth grade year. While our student body is comprised primarily of children from the Roman Catholic faith, we welcome students from other faith traditions.
All children participate in weekly Mass and various other prayer experiences including school prayer services, classroom prayer, sacramental preparation, and community service. Many of our 8th graders serve as Eucharistic Ministers.
